This Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by The Frut Company Ltd. and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies ("Frut" or "We"). This privacy policy ("Policy") applies to the websites of Frut, including and Frut’s applications and other online services (collectively, "Services"). This Policy does not apply to websites, applications, or services that display or link to different privacy statements.


We collect information about you in various ways when you use our Services. We collect personal information you provide to us. For example, we collect your name, email address, location, photos you upload (including metadata such as time/data stamp and location) your contact info from your address book, and other information you provide us on our Services. We may also obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect on our Services.

We may let you create a Frut account using your existing third-party social network account credentials (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, WeChat). If you do this, you are authorising us to receive, and for that third-party to share, certain information about you that is available via your account with that third-party, like, among other things, your name, email address, profile picture, current location, and friends list.

When you visit our Services, some information is automatically collected. For example, when you use the Frut mobile app, we automatically log information related to your mobile device and network. We may log, for example, your device type, device identifiers, device location, Wi-Fi networking connection data, information about connected Wi-Fi devices, the types and versions of mobile operating system you use, time-stamped logs of data exchanges associated with the Frut mobile app, and usage statistics associated with the Frut mobile app such as your search history, search results, content you select and view, and with whom you share content. When you use, the Frut mobile app, we need permission to access content and other information stored on your mobile device and certain features on your mobile device. You can check the permissions we request on the settings section of your device to learn more.

When you visit our website your computer's operating system, Internet Protocol (IP) address, access times, browser type and language, and the website you visited before coming to our site are logged automatically. We also collect information about your usage and activity on our Services.


We may automatically collect information using "cookies." Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. Among other things, cookies help us improve our Services and your experience. We use cookies to see which areas and features are popular and to count visits to our Services. When you visit our Site, our Site honors your Web browser signal and other similar mechanisms that indicate your request to disable tracking of your online activities over time and across different websites and online services.

Web Beacons.

We may collect information using Web beacons. Web beacons are electronic images that may be used on our Services or in our emails. We use Web beacons to deliver cookies, count visits, understand usage and campaign effectiveness and to tell if an email has been opened and acted upon.

Third party data collection.

  • understand you and your preferences to enhance your experience and enjoyment using our Services;

  • process and deliver contest entries and rewards;

  • respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service;

  • provide and deliver products and services you request;

  • send you related information, including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;

  • communicate with you about new contests, promotions, and rewards, upcoming events, and other news about products and services offered by Frut and our selected partners;

  • link or combine information about you with other personal information we get from third parties, to help understand your needs and provide you with better and more personalized service; and

  • protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.


Frut may store and process personal information in the United Kingdom and other countries globally.


Information You May Share

Our Services allow you to connect and share your actions, comments, content, and information with the world or with specific people. This includes for example your name and username; the posts you create with Frut, and data about those posts, such as when you transmitted them; the groups you create; the people you follow; the photos and venues you mark as favorites; and where you take photos and location tagging. Your profile information including, your biography, and your profile picture are defaulted public, but you may choose to make these private. You may also connect to, and share your information on, third party websites and services. Please be mindful of your own privacy needs as you choose who to connect with and what to share and make public. We cannot control the privacy or security of information you choose to make public or share with others.

Information We May Share

We do not share your personal information with third parties other than as follows:

  • with your consent, for example, when you agree to our sharing your information with other third parties for their own marketing purposes subject to their separate privacy policies;

  • with third party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who work for us and need access to your information to do that work;

  • to (i) comply with laws or to respond to lawful requests and legal process, (ii) to protect the rights and property of Frut, our agents, customers, and others including to enforce our agreements, policies, and terms of use or (iii) in an emergency to protect the personal safety of Frut, its customers, or

  • in connection with or during negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets to another company.


We may also share aggregated or deidentified information.


Frut takes reasonable steps to help protect your personal information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, you should know that no company, including Frut, can fully eliminate security risks associated with personal information. To help protect yourself, please use a strong password, do not use the same passwords to access your Frut accounts that you use with other accounts or services, and protect your user names and passwords to help prevent others from accessing your accounts and services.


You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from Frut by following the instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as emails about your accounts or our ongoing business relations. You may also send requests about your contact preferences, changes to your information including requests to opt-out of sharing your personal information with third parties by emailing

When you visit Frut Sites, we and others give you the following choices about use of mechanisms for tracking, including tracking of your online activities over time and across different websites and online services by third parties. Many Web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can usually choose to set your browser to remove cookies and to reject cookies from Frut servers. If you choose to remove cookies or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of Frut Sites. You can also choose to opt-out of use of cookies by many of Frut’s third party advertising partners to deliver ads tailored to your profile and preferences by clicking here: If you delete your cookies, use a different browser, or buy a new computer, you will need to renew your opt-out choices. If you do not want us to track emails we send you, some email services let you change your display to turn off HTML or disable download of images which should effectively disable our email tracking, or you may unsubscribe from our marketing emails as described in those emails. While we and others give you choices described in this Privacy Policy, there are many ways Web browser signals and other similar mechanisms can indicate your choice to disable tracking, and we may not be aware of or honor every mechanism.

Devices and device system software also provide certain opt-out choices that you can control. For example, Apple iOS and Google Play Services provide an opt-out choice that you can use to control in-app advertisements, and mobile device operating systems provide opt-out choices for push notifications or alerts and collection of location information. Please consult your device settings for more information or to opt out using these mechanisms.
